Impande is an AI cultural companion for traditional-wisdom reflection. It sends you a daily prophecy, or reading, on WhatsApp in the language you choose. Impande is not a traditional health practitioner. It is not registered with the Traditional Health Practitioners Council. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any physical or mental condition, and no person on the other end is a sangoma.
Readings are reflective prompts, not predictions or guarantees. The daily prophecy is a reflection to carry through your day. It is not a forecast of events, and it is not advice about your health, your money, or the law. If you need advice in any of those areas, ask a qualified person.
The claims made on this page have not been scientifically proven. The advertised outcomes claimed are not guaranteed.
The service starts at R30 a month. The bigger tiers cost R99 and R249 a month. Prices include VAT. The price you pick is the price you pay. There is no surprise billing.
You sign up by messaging the Impande WhatsApp number and answering a few short questions: your language, your tier, and the time you want your prophecy. Your first prophecy arrives the next morning at the time you chose. You can pause or cancel any month, with no notice period. When you cancel, delivery stops at the end of your current month.
Use the service lawfully. Do not use it to harm others, to impersonate a practitioner, or to seek medical, financial, or legal advice. You are responsible for the messages you send.
We do not guarantee a specific outcome from the readings. We do not guarantee the service will be available without interruption, though we work to keep it running.
To the extent the law allows, Impande's total liability to you, for any claim connected to the service, is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Neither side is liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost income or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Under the Consumer Protection Act you may cancel within five business days after direct marketing, which is the cooling-off period. Where the law provides, you are entitled to a refund. If you believe you were overcharged or the service was not delivered, tell us first and we will put it right or refund you.
We may update these terms. When we do, we post the new terms on this page, and where the change is material, we tell you on WhatsApp before it takes effect.
These terms are governed by the law of South Africa. The courts of South Africa have jurisdiction.
